Description:
Velletri occupies a wide area, covered by a close road network, which have been used, since the postwar period, for a service of public transport.
Anyway the organization of this service was still conditioned by some old principles, that should have been changed and improved in order to go with the evolution of the private mobility and of the social and town planning changes.
So the complete reorganization of the system was necessary .
In particular, four new free bus lines were introduced; they allow a fast connection between the town centre ( even for those areas that were lacking in any lines ) and the suburbs, where you can stop your private car.
