Description:
This work aimed at increasing the accessibility of the town centre, by connecting it to the Eastern side of the town, where you can find public parking areas.
The escalators are expanding on a slope of about 16 metres and have a total lenght of 45 meters.
The structure of the basement is made of reinforced concrete and a covering system is laid on it.
The covering frame is made up by some steel pillars and beams with sheets of structural glass, that are arranged in order to protect the users from the pelting rain.
The side panels by perforated plate and satin glass safeguard the privacy of the contiguous houses and, in the mean time, create an original architectural motif.
