Description:
The work constitutes a new road connection between the southern area of the city centre and the northen Main Road Appia, in order to relieve traffic congestion in the town centre in Velletri.
The planned route of the road closely follows, for the most part, an old country road absolutely inadequate to modern car traffic, it has a total length of 1003 m and is equipped with three roundabouts
The project includes an hydraulic arrangement of the Santa Anatolia ditch (which extends adjacent to the new roadway and in two points it stands below),and provides for its filling into a circular corrugated sheet steel pipe (3,50 m. diameter).
In the working phase we arranged for a general modernization of underground utilities.
In particular, a new sewer pipe has been realised for waste water, an old waterworks has been replaced, a new water distribution pipe network rebuilt, telephone line wiring, and some sections of power and gas lines.
